Education

We believe that everyone deserves an education, regardless of their background or wealth. The amount of wasted potential in Ethiopia is tragic - indeed only 19% of girls and 31% of boys enrol into secondary school. Poor education is an underlying cause of many of the problems being faced in Ethiopia today and it is vital that we address this issue.

Ethiopiaid supports education projects at every level, from basic education through vocational training to degree and postgraduate level qualifications. We envisage a country where everybody's potential is fostered and progress has no limits - your support can help us to achieve this goal.
